How to check for an injured person's responsiveness?

Sunday, April 19, 2015

A. Slap him on the cheek.
B. Throw water at him.
C. ask him to squeeze his hand and ask him his name

My senior colleague was there with me when I was doing the test. As I was about to click C, he stopped me with

'no no no no. It's either A or B! How could you choose C?'

me in my head,

'WHAT??? YOU WANT TO SLAP AN INJURED PERSON?? WHICH MEDICAL SCHOOL TEACHES THAT TO THEIR STUDENT??'

but me in reality,

with the softest voice 'is it?'

'yeah yeah. Haven't you see it in movies? They do it all the time,'

One thing I learn after 2 years and a half in a corporate world is,

"There's no point in arguing with your senior. Your senior is always right. You can briefly mention your point and if he/she still think their idea is better, leave it. It's their responsibility anyway,"

So I clicked A.

'BAD ANSWER. YOU DON'T WANT TO FURTHER STRESS THE VICTIM.'

I showed the comment to my senior while smiling brightly.

I W-I-N
