The Quitter

Assalamualaikum. :)

25! T-T

Besides that, I am excited to start this new year as I'll be working with a new company soon. Can't wait!

Speaking of new job, Ayu has recently been freed from Audit Firm. Congratulation babe! <3

Just to be clear, it's not because of me okay. She make the decision all by herself.

Not that I am bragging of being a quitter (it's not really a good quality one should have), but I think, to quit, you need courage.

It’s never easy to quit something. Especially after almost 2 years being in the program. After 2 years, you may have become too comfortable with the state you’re currently in. You may hate it, but still, it’s something you’re already familiar with. And to quit something familiar to start doing something that is still uncertain, not a lot of people are willing to do it.

Plus there will be exit interview, where they’ll present you with countless of offers to make you stay. If you’re not firm enough with your decision, you might end up accepting the offer and retract your resignation letter.

Recently, a lot of my friends had been asking me how I quit. Where did I find the courage to do what I did? Why I did what I did?

I’ve answered a lot of them with ‘Kalau rasa boleh stay, stay je la. Bertahan!.’ I think they all must have rolled their eyes while scoffing ‘huh cakap tak serupa bikin. You quit!’

What can I do??? I cannot say, ‘Berhenti je weeh’. I don’t want to encourage you to do that. I can be a friend and listen to you pouring your heart out, but I can’t give you any solution. It’s something that you have to figure out on your own.

and I think, when it’s time, you’ll know.

For those asking, I am happy now. Happy in DEBT, but still, happy. :D
