Assalamualaikum

While cleaning my phone photo gallery, I realised that I took a lot of photos for blogging purposes but a lot of them never actually made it because I was too busy playing..well, what else is new?

One of them is this

If you read my previous KFC post, you would have known that I have a love hate relationship with KFC. I love them for their absolutely delicious fried chicken (why I am so fat) but I am never a fan of their service and if you know me, you know I value good service and really detest bad one.. I never go back to places that have poor service but with KFC, I lose.. I just can't...even by writing this make me crave for some...eh oh wait, Monday is my turn to decide what's for lunch! *salivating*

Anyway, the above picture was taken during Ramadhan. I survived almost a month without KFC (huge achievement) then Ayu burst the record by telling me all about Kari Rangup.

Kari rangup what?? Why I haven't heard anything about this? I. NEED. THIS. The next day, I kind of force my whole family to eat this for berbuka. I skipped happily otw to tapau this combo deal and boy was I oblivious to the torture I was about to face. See, I live in Rawang and my office is in Damansara. That's around one hour drive with traffic on a normal working day..but we're talking about Ramadhan here...a time when cars double, traffic worsen. So, sitting in a tight close car, with a bucket of fried chickens, while fasting, for two hours......at the end I decided to open my windows.

Seriously, if you thing you know torture, try this. See whether you can endure this one.

LONGEST TORTURE

Assalamualaikum

Hi.

What's for lunch?

For this, I prefer my old office actually because we have very limited choices. It's either Mamak, Sime Darby, Ayam penyet or MJ's food court. It took less than 1 minute to decide. Now, being in One Utama......sigh...a lot of choice is a bad thing you know. After only 9 months here, I don't even know how to choose anymore, I ate everything already!

Therefore, to entertain myself and gives me motivation to choose, I am starting a new series called What's for lunch? (You know, like Let's Eat food blog =D ).

So here goes>>>>

***

(P/S: picture a bit blurry here cause this was taken several months back when I haven't even decided to make a series out of it, so bear with it for a while =) )

The first restaurant that I would love to introduce is Kyochon in One Utama. It is located in the new wing's LG Floor near Cold Storage. To be more accurate, the store number is LG311.

I was introduce to this shop by Ayu. It was all because of our Korea trip. Around our boarding house, there was a lot of small fried chicken shops in the area. Competition is high. Therefore, in front of every shop, they'll be one person giving free chicken as sample. Since we don't know whether it's halal or not, we can only drool over it. Sobs2. After we come back, Kyochon was our saviour!

What I would highly recommend?

Honey Wingettes and Drumettes

Heaven! It's my favourite from the restaurant. I don't want to oversell it but this honey coated chicken is jjang (the best)! Its crispy and soft at the same time. If you're afraid it would be too sweet, it's not! Honey-sweet is definitely different than sugar-sweet. So far, I've eaten this with Ayu, Atin, Izzati, Del, Shamini and Winnie, all of them love this range!

What's best to compliment Honey Wingettes and Drumettes?

Red Wingettes and Drumettes

If you think you can eat spicy food, try this. It's damn hot but I find myself keep coming back for more cause it's super good! Definitely not recommended for people who can't eat spicy food and breast feeding mum. Ayu felt the spiciness as soon as she took her first bite and I felt it after two piece of wingettes.

How I ate it: One piece of red and honey chicken back and forth

Other things I've tried

Original Soy Wingettes and Drumettes

I am always a fan of soy sauce. Thruthfully, I can't eat rice without it but this Soy flavoured chicken is just so-so.

Salsal strip

Not my taste

Spicy Chicken Bulgogi

By now I am quite sure that I don't really like Korean food (the one in Malaysia) so this one taste a bit bland for me but that's just me. My colleagues love this.

Why Lee Min Ho has to be everywhere????
