Many have been asking so I thought I leave you with this brief itinerary first before going into details in separate posts. So here goes:
Budget listed below are for 4.

DAY 1 - PHNOM PENH (read more)
Data plan ($5) - Seatel MIFI rental - 7 days unlimited data and ohhh need to pay deposit $50 too. This will be refunded once you return the MIFI.
Transportation ($20) - A whole day Tuktuk ride for up to 4 tourist spots.
Royal palace/Silver Pagoda ($26) - Admission fee $6.5 per pax
Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum ($9) - Admission fee is $3 per pax but it is free for students!!! so make sure you bring your student card if this museum is part of your itinerary. Ayu and I did not bring our student card + additional fee for audio guide rental hence the $9 dollar total.
Wat Phnom ($4) - foreigners admission fee $1 per pax
Wat Ounalom (free) - well technically, it's not free but the entrance is a bit weird it hides the ticket booth and we missed it...okay fine..we pretended not to see it -___- so we didn't pay :P
Walk rd riverside (free) - resting place while overlooking the Tonle Sap river
Night market (depends on individual) - very similar to up town's market in Malaysia.
Sleeper bus to Siem Reap ($60) - $15 per pax
DAY 2 - SIEM REAP (read more)
Transportation ($13) - Pre-booked. A whole day Tuktuk ride...anywhere you desire.
Accommodation ($56) - Pre-booked for two nights. Owl Inn (2 superior double with balcony room x $14 per night)
War Museum ($20) - $5 per pax
Wat Thmey (killing field) (free)
Tonle Sap lake boat ride ($52) - $13 per pax but could cost a lot more if not for our cheapskate selves.
Night market (depends on individual)
DAY 3 - SIEM REAP TEMPLE TOUR (read more)
Transportation ($13) - Pre-booked. A whole day Tuktuk ride...anywhere you desire.
Angkor Park admission fee ($80) - $20 per pax for all temples. cover Angkor Wat, Bayon (Angkor Thom) and Ta Prohm.
Night market (depends on individual) - again!
DAY 4 - SIEM REAP - PHNOM PENH - HO CHI MINH - MUI NE (Bus ride)
Siem Reap to Ho Chi Minh ($100) - $25 per pax - 6 hours of sleeper bus ride and another 6 hours of normal VIP bus ride
Taxi fare to travel agent office ($5)
Ho Chi Minh to Mui Ne ($96) - $24 per pax. All inclusive, bus ride (to and from HCM) and the next day sunrise tour.
DAY 5 - MUI NE (read more)
Accomodation in Mui Ne ($24) - pre-booked 2 double-bed rooms at Mui Ne Hill Budget Hotel but we got 2 duplex rooms with one single and one queen bed. major love! <3
Places included in the tour package - White Sand Dune, Red Sand Dune, Fishing Village, Fairy Stream
ATV ride at White Sand Dune ($25) - disclaimer - you just sit on it, the driver will drive it. :P
Sandboarding ($2) - price is per sleigh. They say you can't share but try telling that to cheapskate like us.
Accomodation in HCM ($90) - Pre-booked for 3 nights. Quy Thanh Hotel (2 double room x $15 per night). Small note: No one speaks English makes me wonder who help them sign up for Agoda.
DAY 6 - MEKONG DELTA (read more)
Mekong Delta ($40) - $10 per pax for whole day tour
Banh Tan Market (depends on individual)
DAY 7 - CHU CHI TUNNEL (read more)
Chu Chi Tunnel tour ($40) - $10 per pax for half day tour
Night market (depends on individual)
DAY 7 - BALIK!
Transportation to airport ($10)
Airport wrapping service ($4)
TOTAL SPENT (excluding flight ticket, personal shopping expenses and food)
For 4 - $794 (MYR3,310.98 @ 4.17 exchange rate)
