[Percutian Bajet ke Kemboja-Vietnam]
Assalamualaikum
Who would have thought that there are sand dunes in Vietnam! We booked this tour through Mrs. Khan from VN Lotus Travel. She needs no introduction. Most tourist, especially Malaysian tourists would normally go to her for tours in Vietnam. She is super friendly and extremely helpful. Evidently, from her Trip Advisor's review page, she get 5 stars rating from 30 out of 33 people! That itself says a lot about how good Mrs. Khan is.
Jess thanked me a lot when I recommended Mrs. Khan to her. She said luckily she asked me before she went for the trip. If not, if someone ask her how's Vietnam, she could only reply "Banyak beg murah," lol!
Amir stayed in (boo!) for the whole of Mui Ne tour because he's so old, his body could not keep up (18 hours of bus ride the day before). Meanwhile, we, the young ones, started our day very early, 4.00 am to catch the sunrise. Again, miss communication happen, the driver got lost and waited at a different hotel, we missed another sunrise. T-T
White Sand Dunes
Why does it is call white? because the sand is supposedly 'white' and dumb me took it literally.
So it is not white white but they have other sand dune nearby called Red sand dune, which you would see later how 'red' that area looks like, I instantly accepted the name White for this area.
This area is huuugggggeeeeeeee. You're more than welcome to walk but as for me, need I remind you again what my fitness level is? We simply took ATV to go to the peak.
First ATV ride, ever! As you can see, we're only bonceng the guy. We didn't know that you can actually ride them yourself! Jess rode it herself! So jealous of her!
Red sand dune
See how 'red' this one look? Again not red red but you get the drift.
Here, we were supposed to play with slides BUT it rain in the morning so the sand was wet even the lightest person on earth could never slide down the slope. Stubborn us still try nevertheless and that only amount to more frustration. Seriously, why are we so stubborn? A lot of funny things happen though. We even shoot this one embarrassing video of Ayu. I am still planning what to do with it, do I play it at her wedding? we'll see. =P
Floating village
Honestly speaking, I don't know why this is included in the tour package...yes, I get it, this is unique place to visit but to include this place in tour package hmmmmm....nothing against the place...if it is not included in the tour, I would ask our driver to stop by anyway but that would just be me, only me, one tourist, going to odd places...not everyone.
The thing is, this is a very busy place. Everyone looks very busy with their boats and catches and tourists (we) with their/our photo taking disturb the whole flow. Furthermore, the villagers here expect people to come to buy their catches not just to play/watch/take photos of them. So why are we here again?

Fairy Stream
By now, we all started to get tired by this 'tour' thing. If you've been following my travel posts well, you would have notice that almost all our trips are DIY. So following orders and time is not us. And we're not the one who'll visit places that do not interest us. Unfortunately, that includes this stream. Honestly, it looks like any other stream we have in Malaysia.
The only thing that interest us is the mud. hahahahaha. We played with the mud for awhile before we ended the tour.
