Remind me, not to plan any surprises for anyone, ever!
Last week, we were supposed to have a suprise birthday celebration for two of our colleagues. So, on Thursday, I asked our team's intern to buy a cake for them. She bought it and put it in the fridge...and guess what, now it's already the following week's Friday, yup following, not THE Friday right next to the Thursday mentioned earlier, the following week's Friday, the cake was still there, sitting peacefully in the fridge.
For the whole week, the people that we were supposed to celebrate, were never available, at the same time...no, they're not on leave..but their butt never touch their seat at the same time, for the whole freaking week!
Who thought this would happen? T_______________T
Today, we cut the cake...without both of them....the thought of leaving that cake in the fridge for another weekend freaked me out...so it was either cut now or never moment. People passing by kept asking us who s birthday was it?
We can't answer T-T...bunch of losers we are. >.<
So, no surprises from May onward. Sorry late babies.
