Assalamualaikum
We promised last year that we're going to make climbing Broga as a yearly arrangement so when new year comes, do you know who remind us of this promise? me! me guys me! haha. Told you 2017 has been good to me. The old Athirah would feign ignorance "eh ada ke janji macam tu," but noooo, this is new Athirah, the Athirah who actually wants to climb Broga.
Set the date and everything..it was perfect until Zul told Alya that Broga is close for construction. zzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Tenang tenang. Don't panic. Cue: google other beginner friendly hill. Pening. I okayed it when Ayu suggested Gasing.
Except that Ayu and I reached late, the day started out alright. Light steps, we were excited. Not until when we actually went into the forest we realised, this is not for us. Gasing is too forest-y....if that makes sense..unlike the togel Broga, where we can see where it ends, Gasing is a mystery. You can't see the peak! Uncertainty make us nervous...and when a guy told us that the path we took is not the same path to the jambatan gantung, our spirit were crushed! I mean, no jambatan gantung? where are we supposed to take pictures for instagram? #priorities -______-

Pantas semua setuju. haha. Instead, we went for nasi kandar and Starbuck later on #jjcm pulak.

Although we did not reached the peak, it is still a day well spent. We talked and talked and talked we talked so much that at the end of the day, we parted ways feeling content and in case that my future self forget all of this, through this post, I wanted to remind you that simple things, like catching up with your girlfriends can bring contentment. No need to stress over fancy activities because meh, that's not the type of friends you (read:me) keep anyway haha.
